Well you could obtain coordinates for your own phone but of course other users would not be able to access their own GPS receivers without also installing PAMP. I guess this would be okay for development work but would not be practical for widescale distribution until WidSets supports the Location API (anyone at WidSets got a timescale on this?).
Essentially I guess you would set your phone up as a web server using PAMP (follow instructions on their Wiki), then create a simple PHP script to obtain the phone's position. You could then access this script using the standard HTTP service on WidSets.
UPDATE: looking through your post on Forum Nokia I guess you've already figured all this out. I guess you specfically have problems with signing the PAMP application (can be a confusing and tricky process on S60).
